As a Park City concierge, I have booked loads of sleigh rides for families visiting Park City in the winter. There are quite a few options for Park City Sleigh Rides; some include dinner, others do not. As we wait for the 2026 ski season to start, here’s a roundup of all the sleigh ride companies in Park City, Utah!

Broken Arrow Sleigh Rides
For a private sleigh ride in Deer Valley, Broken Arrow is the place to call. With horse drawn sleighs that come in two sizes, they can take up to 12 passengers in one large sleigh. A small sleigh for up to five passengers is $250, and a large sleigh is $275 for the 30-minute tour. Rides depart from Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Village nightly at 5:00, 5:45, 6:3,0 and 7:15.
Blankets are provided, but you still want to bundle up with a hat and gloves. If you can coordinate a dinner reservation at Goldener Hirsch or Stein Eriksen Lodge, the sleigh will drop you off at your dinner! Parking is tight; if you drive, be prepared to pay for parking at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.

KB Horses
KB Horses is one of my favorite places to send younger visitors on a horseback ride. For families with kids too little to join a trail ride, KB offers horse drawn wagon rides. Rides are offered in summer and winter, and include snacks and drinks, with blankets included on winter rides. Their ranch at Red Ledges in Heber City has beautiful views of the Wasatch Mountains.
Rocky Mountain Outfitters
In addition to scenic horseback rides from their stables near Soldier Hollow, Rocky Mountain Outfitters has some fun horse drawn wagon rides in the winter. A team of Belgian draft horses pulls a wagon through a spectacular light display at Wasatch Mountain State Park. You can pay extra for a private ride; otherwise, you will be grouped with others. Drive-through light displays don’t seem to be a big thing in the Wasatch Back, so this is a great alternative!
Hopefully, the Ice Castles will return someday. RMO also offered wagon rides from their stables to the Ice Castles, which was a popular tradition for many visitors.
Snowed Inn Sleigh Company
Snowed Inn offers an all-inclusive dinner experience near the base of Park City Mountain. The evening begins with a horse-drawn sleigh ride to the slopeside lodge, where you’ll enjoy an evening of Western food and entertainment. You can book just the sleigh ride without dinner, but why miss the chance to break out your Western wear and dancing boots? Reservations for this fun evening experience open up in August, so if you’re visiting during a peak ski week, make your reservations early!
Viking Yurt
Viking Yurt is high on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort. Your dinner reservation begins with a snowcat-pulled sleigh ride up to the yurt. Inside, you’ll find a warm fire and a hot spiced drink. The welcome drink is followed by six courses of European cuisine, and a sleigh ride home under twinkling stars. Even at $225 per person, this Park City Sleigh ride fills up quickly!
If you miss your chance at a dinner reservation at the Viking Yurt, they serve lunch daily and it’s first-come, first-served. You have to ski in and ski out, although it is located on a green run, so even beginners can ski there. However, the sleigh rides only operate in the evening once the skiers have cleared the slopes.
This is not recommended for kids under ten as it’s a four-hour prix-fixe menu. Additionally, everyone must arrive and leave at the same time due to the sleigh ride.
Fireside Dining
Another option for a private sleigh ride in Deer Valley, you can book one to accompany your dinner at Fireside Dining. Located in a yurt at Empire Pass near the Montage Deer Valley, Fireside Dining is known for its raclette service. The four-course prix-fixe menu features stations such as the raclette and the carving station. You’ll have the option to add a sleigh ride before, during or after your dinner. The horse drawn sleighs can fit up to six passengers and a 15-minute ride is $50. This is a great way to take a breath and get some fresh air between courses!
Fireside Dining reservations open up in October for the ski season; get on the Deer Valley mailing list for updates because peak dates sell out faster than a Taylor Swift concert.
